The first thing you will notice when you walk into our living room, is the vast, square, black fire place. Next you will notice a white rocker that carries a stitched quilt across it. To fill the empty corner of the room, a grand, white and Gray plaid armchair, with a matching foot stool, sits. The biggest attraction in the living room is the extensive window that covers the whole left wall. An old wood desk that folds up settles on the wall beside the window. The desk holds a sage green lamp, earl grey smelling candles and paintings of sunrises.
A Gray glider rests in the open space, a patched pillow sprawled across it. A forest green table lies in between the glider and a tall, proper armchair. Behind these two chairs there is a shelf full of portraits, paintings and prints. Under the shelf of landscapes six round hocks hold cowboy hats and baskets. A Beige cabinet lounges on the bronze wood floor. Cook books and crochet bunnies sit on top.
A golden oak rocking chair is the last chair in our living room, completing the circle of chairs. Under the rocking chair, a circle farm pattern rug lays. There are other rugs that cover the living room floor. A denim blue rug sits in front of the fireplace, collecting all the ash and dust. Another rug covers almost the whole living room floor, that has pink and blue swirls all around it.
Last, but not least, there is a dark wood coffee table in the middle of it all, books and candles cover the surface and emerald green stools wrap around the bottom. With maps, pictures, rugs and lamps, our living room makes a snug kind of place.
Love Ella
