The climb

The day of the climb starts with an early morning start (AKA 7:30šŸ˜‚!). We leave the hotel at 8:05 and get to the mountain around 9:00. Everyone is a little bit grumpy because apparently you have to wear pants and closed toe shoes but we didn’t know so two of us had to get shoes and one of us had to get pants. ( witch by the way ended up being elephant pants that I have only ever seen in Thailand!) Anyway we were all ready to start climbing but it turned out that we needed a Gide so we had to pay for that AND THEN we also had to pay and get tickets! So we started climbing. At first it wasn’t too bad but that was in till we figured out that we had to make it to level L and we were at level A! It turned out to be really fun and super beautiful there where lots of look outs along the way and bench’s you could rest at. When we finally got to the top we found a nice shaded area and rested for a while. The Gide brought drinks and snacks so we had those when we were waiting for our turn in the Naka cave. The cave was super beautiful and we took some nice photos. After that we climbed a little more and went to a look out and then we headed back down. We were going to stop to see this cool rock but we would have to wait in line for forty minutes! Soooo we just walk past! The hike down was much nicer and we had a nice breeze. It took us five or six hours all together but overall it was a really nice hike and I am glad I got to do it with friends and family. Love Ella
