Farm life isn’t just living in the prairies and having a few cows; farm life starts in the spring with calving and seeding. Then it goes into summer with baling, rock picking, spraying, feeding cows, taking cows to pasture, riding horses, gardening and getting ready for harvest. When fall comes, harvest is in full swing! Also in fall, there is bringing cows home, trucking, washing combines, harrowing, and much more! When winter comes and snow hits the ground, and the trees are frosted, all that needs to be done is feeding cows along with fixing some machines. We are lucky to have such a wonderful crew that help us through every season. So that is farm life, you might now think “oh farm life is so busy! ” but in the every day life it’s not at all and there’s a openness on a farm, a slowness. And that’s what i love about farm life. Love Ella
